課程概述 |
(83dc) Need “present and discuss” materials and “do” preliminary analysis.
(83dc) Discussion and interaction are emphasized.
(83dc) Students are divided into groups to perform presentation and practice
1. Introduction to systems analysis:
Systems concepts and the characteristics of systems
Principles and methodology of systems analysis
2. Decision analysis:
Modeling decision
— Elements of decision problems; Structuring decisions;
— Making choices; Sensitivity analysis
Modeling uncertainty
— Subjective probability; Using data; Value of information
Modeling preference
— Utility; Conflicting objectives
3. Systems dynamics and software practice (Stella)
Stocks and flows; Numerical simulation; Equilibrium diagrams; S-shaped loop diagrams; Causal loops diagrams; Example studies
4. Tools related to environmental assessment
Life cycle assessment (LCA)
— Goal and scope definition; life cycle inventory;
— Life cycle impact assessment; interpretation
— Software
5. Application:
Literature case study
Case practices: (e.g. Integrated multimedia environmental management, groundwater remediation decision support system, bio-waste recycle planning, material flow investigation, global warming, plastic bag regulations, integrated waste management, watershed TMDL, policy/product assessment, strategic environmental assessment, etc.)
